How Does this Work?
Students either come to us via our affiliation with their school or they can bring our internship to theirs! Simply go to your career center and ask them what are the steps it takes to bring the Empress Initiative program to their school.
At The Queen BluePrint interns will receive a Financial BluePrint and action plan to begin working on their financial goals. Rotations last 3 months (an entire semester) and interns are expected to dedicate at least 8hrs a week to the internship.
Along with the financial mentorship aspect of the program interns also gain real world financial professional skills.
They begin as admins to understand how to interact with potential, new and existing clients over the phone and through email
They're invited into sessions so that they can see how intake and strategy sessions are performed
By the third month they're expected to understand and know how to build and read a full financial profile including a credit analysis and cash flow plan
These skills enable them to keep their own financial foundation strong, optimal financial health and begin building generational wealth. They can also use these verifiable skills on their resume
While there is no gaurantee of being hired as a full time employee interns have the opportunity to apply for a commision based position
